Naririnig mo na ba ang “Silver Week” sa Japan? Unlike Golden Week, hindi ito isang official holiday mismo. Ang Silver Week ay tawag sa sunod-sunod o magkakalapit na national holidays tuwing September, kaya nagkakaroon ng magandang opportunity para sa longer break.
Dalawa sa important holidays around this period ay Respect for the Aged Day (敬老の日 / Keirō no Hi) at Autumnal Equinox Day (秋分の日 / Shūbun no Hi).
A day to honor and show appreciation to elderly people and celebrate their contribution to society.
Marks the seasonal transition toward autumn. Traditionally, it is also a time when many Japanese families remember and pay respect to their ancestors.

Hindi every year nagkakaroon ng long Silver Week! Depende ito sa calendar at kung paano papatak ang national holidays, weekends, at possible holiday in between.
